Shay
Shay likes to sing and to write songs and he manages to do both with the Congress - which makes him happy. He also likes to play a bit too and does so quite often on his prized Kiwaya soprano. So between singing and writing and playing you can say that he likes to do things in threes ‐ and if proof was ever needed check out this video!
Sonny
South Korean fella who plays concert size ukulele. Especially good at fingerpicking stuff. He teaches ukulele(beginner class) in Ukuhooley every month.
Michael
Mick strums. He also talks a lot. An awful lot. Sometimes he does both together, just to annoy us. He believes that the world would be a better place if all legal, political and generally strongly worded correspondence contained smilies :-)
Keith
Keith plays Ukulele, Melodica and Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer with the group. Keiths spare time is mostly taken up with philosophy, wondering if maybe, after all, the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about and worrying that Jim Corr might not be as crazy as he appears. Keith has no idea of where 'it' might be at, but it definitely isn't in Kansas anymore. Keith is also, at Six foot two inches, the proud holder of the title 'Irelands Tallest Midget'
James
James is the band's premier banjo playing Essex boy.
Weapon of choice is a battered Style 0 Martin.
Also occasionally writes a song. Only occasionally because this is very hard.
Andrew
Andrew is also known as Recumbentman. He plays u-bass, an instrument with the body of a ukulele and the mind of a bass. He also has written an article on the uke that you can read!
